The Gear Live incorporates Bluetooth 4.0 technology, which allows it to wirelessly pair to your smartphone. Once paired, the Gear Live gives you the ability to view message notifications and use Google Now search technology directly from your wrist.
The Samsung Gear Live is powered by Android Wear. Android Wear is available as a free download from the Google Play store for installing on your compatible mobile device. After installation, you can control and access device features from your connected portable device using the aforementioned Bluetooth technology.
