Experience high-performance wearable technology with the gold brownSamsung Gear 2 Smartwatch. This device has a 1.63" touchscreen Super AMOLED display and a 320 x 320 native resolution. The Gear 2 incorporates Bluetooth 4.0 technology for wireless pairing. Once paired, the Gear 2 gives you the ability to view message notifications, as well as make and receive phone calls without touching your smartphone. For enhanced hands-free functionality, this device is also compatible with Samsung's S Voice technology, which allows you to perform various device functions by speaking directly into the smartwatch's microphone.
The Gear Manager app is available as a free download from Samsung for installing on your compatible mobile device. After installation, you can control and access device features from your connected portable device using the aforementioned Bluetooth technology. A 2.0-megapixel camera is built into the Gear 2 for capturing high-resolution photos. You can also record high-definition 720p video directly to the Gear 2's 4GB internal storage. For speed and performance, this device has a dual-core 1 GHz processor and 512MB of RAM. The Samsung Gear 2 features a rechargeable 300mAh lithium-ion battery and includes a dock interface and mirco-USB cable for charging.
