The black 3TB Canvio Desktop External Hard Drive from Toshiba is easy to set up and ideal for expanding your storage needs. It offers high-capacity storage in a small compact design. A built-in USB 3.0 interface significantly improves file transfer performance for large media files and dramatically minimizes the wait time for backup.
The Canvio External Hard Drive is preloaded with an easy-to-use backup software to enable fast and simple backup. The included NTI Backup Now EZ software scans your system and recommends the best coverage for your computer. The hard drive is capable of storing up to 857,000 digital photos, 789,000 digital music files or 2460 downloaded digital movies.
A customizable backup routine allows you to select common file types such as word documents, pictures, movies and music, and change the frequency of backups such as hourly, daily or more. You can also change the Drive Space Alert threshold setting. The Canvio External Hard Drive thus offers a reliable add-on storage and backup solution with up-to-date USB 3.0 technology.
