DETAILS

In 1944 the US government enforced textile rationing due to WWII expenses. Since the Arcuate Stitching Design was considered a decorative feature, Levi's® brand decided another alternative—to paint the Arcuate on every pair that came out of the factory. The paint eventually washed off but having that stitching visible when buying the jeans was the important thing. They are cut for a regular fit with a high waist, featuring the Two Horse leather patch, single sided Big E on the red Tab and the hidden back pocket rivets.
