When WWII ended and raw materials were available again, we leapt back into heavy production to meet the growing post-war demand. With a slimmer fit, and streamlined design that no longer included a cinch back or suspender buttons, this jean was ready to rock 'n' roll. The 1947 501® Jean was the jean of a new generation. The finest denim in production today, this pair is made of selvedge denim, which refers to the natural edge of the fabric, tightly bound to ensure longevity.
