In the mid–1950's, LS&Co. started selling the 501® Jean on America's east coast for the first time. This was when the zipper version of the button fly was introduced. It had everything longtime wearers loved: the straight fit with tapered leg, the tough but flexible fabrics, and concealed rivets. This pair has a really dark, almost black base with contrasting knees and top block.
