STYLE NO. 2930 : ICE CUTTER
Built for intense and seemingly endless winters, the 2930 features Black Ottertail waterproof leather, natural wool for insulated warmth, Norwegian welt, and a durable Vibram Lug outsole. It’s also inherently water and ice resistant.
THE HISTORY BEHIND THE STYLE
Constructed with northland durability, the Ice Cutter was originally built to provide rugged northern workers with an insulated boot built on an aggressive sole capable of gripping ice and snow. When Red Wing introduced this classically robust style, we made sure to meet the needs of workers who wanted a boot that wore well on both the frozen surface of a remote northland lake as well as on the pedestrian sidewalks of storefront streets. Built using natural wool for insulated warmth, beautiful Otter Tail leather, and a rugged lug sole the Ice Cutter offers enhanced traction and slip-resistance for those living in areas where the weather can get a bit moody

How it's made.
OIL-TANNED LEATHER
S.B. Foot Tanning Co. is best known for oil-tanned leather which is used to build a variety of timeless Red Wing styles. This leather is water, stain and perspiration resistant, and has a more natural look and feel because less finishing materials have been applied, allowing its natural beauty to shine through. Oil-tanned leather is exceptionally durable and has been used to build countless work boots throughout Red Wing’s 108+ year history.

What to expect.
STYLE NO. 2930 : ICE CUTTER
A new pair of Red Wing Heritage boots should fit comfortably tight on your foot, with enough room to freely wiggle your toes. Over time the full grain leather upper, leather footboard and cork midsole mold to your feet, creating an enduring and customized fit over time with each wear.
THE 2930 IS BUILT USING THE NO. 8 LAST:
- Features a bump toe for more room up-front
- Fits a variety of foot shapes
- Should be sized up ½ if used with a footbed or orthotic
